(Sweet Potato Balls With Nian Gao)

  16. Hi May, this is a very interesting snack. I can imagine how delicious this is going to turn out. I got some nian gao from a friend yesterday and I am going to make this. I just want to confirm if the 1 tbsp of rice flour is to be added into the batter or to coat the balls before frying? Thanks

    1. Hi Veronica, sorry for the late reply as i just came back from the holidays. The 1 tbsp rice flour is to mix together with all the ingredients and knead into a smooth dough, then coat the balls with the flour (i used plain flour). Hope it helps!

    1. I don't add water because the mashed potato contains a sufficient amount of water! Thanks for your comment
